Run by its members, the Ballarat Toy Library is a friendly place where families can borrow toys on a regular basis.
We loan a wide range of quality toys, equipment, puzzles and games, saving our members money, storage space and reducing our carbon footprint.
With a membership to the library, you can easily meet the ever-changing and growing needs of your children at each stage of development; you can discover what toys they most enjoy before buying them, and it is a great place to meet other families in your community.
Every family with young children in and around Ballarat is welcome to be a member of the Ballarat Toy Library.
Come in and play!

Following the AGM in September, your current committee members are:
President: Sally Tuck
Secretary: Zara Pritchard
Treasurer: Hope Wiseman
Rosters & duty phone: Cheril Kemp
Grants coordinator: Renae O’Brien
We would love more people to join us – we need extra help in the areas of events coordination (e.g. BBQ and Messy Play Day) and fundraising. We would also like a person to take on a role in promotion & advertising – such as updating our Facebook page.
Committee meetings are continuing on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the toy library. Anyone who’d like to join the committee is always welcome. Our phone number and email address are to the right of your screen to contact us for more details on how you can get involved. We are a friendly bunch of busy parents who enjoy meeting over a cuppa each month to keep this great member-run organisation going strong, so we can continue to offer a great selection of exciting toys for the children of Ballarat to borrow.
The first Tuesday of the month from 7:30-9pm is also a great time to pop in and borrow toys, join the library or ask questions.
